Elon Musk, 25th Most Powerful People (Part 1).


Howdy, readers welcome to Biographer. Today we gonna read about nowadays Iron-man "Elon Musk."




        Elon Musk is far-sighted, futuristic, and Barrier free thinker. Elon was born on 28 June 1971. He is a South African-born, Canadian-American business magnate. At the age of 10, he read almost more books than a graduate read. All childhood he spent in reading books. Elon demands unreasonable and uncompromising from himself. At the age of 12, Elon created a simple game Blaster. Which he sold to an online company for 500$.


Elon is a man who wants to live for Earth. 

-He created Solar City which works for sustainable energy creation. 

-He created Tesla which works for sustainable energy consumption. 


Forbes declared Elon "25th Most Powerful People". He is a self-taught programmer and a rocket scientist. He never had formal education in rocket science instead he read books on it and learned rocket science successfully.


"I don't expect to do what is possible. I want to what is needed to be done".

Zip 2:-

        Elon and his brother Kimbal Musk launched a software company in 1995 called Zip 2. In just a few months they started getting funding. This result in an increase in the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors thought "How an inexperienced young man will run the company?". So, BOD(Board of Directors) thought to fire Elon from the post of CEO.


        In 2000 due to Dotcom Bubble Burst, BOD(Board of Directors) thought to sell Zip 2 to Compaq. Since Elon was holding 7% equity, Elon got $22 Million. 


X.com:-

        Though Elon was not satisfied he started a new company named X.com. The main purpose of X.com was online transactions. Within 1 year X.com got merge with Cofinity. Elon was impressed by the easy payment system of Cofinity. After merging they named the company PayPal. 


        Elon was quite uncomfortable with the CTO(Chief Technology Officer) of Cofinity. CTO argued to launch PayPal on Linux but Elon asked to launch it on Windows. This created chaos. 


        Elon was newly married, he was enjoying his honeymoon with his wife Justin Musk(In 2000). But here in PayPal, CTO(Chief Technology Officer) convinced all BOD(Board of Directors) and fire Elon from PayPal. But this time his share was much bigger. Elon got $165 Million by walking out from PayPal.


        Later Paypal was acquired by eBay for $1.5 Billion.
